Known in other parts of the world as one armed
bandits, the American term "slot" is now used, not to mean
'long hole' but is named after the hole in which you place the coins,
hence the term slot machine.
These slot machines take in coins, and then pay out
a large proportion of what they take in winnings to the lucky player.
This is of course a gamble and as such is governed
by laws, meaning that you have to be a certain age to play slots or
any other kind of gambling game. (Casinos and gambling are

Casino's worldwide have
